Photography has been around for almost 200 years. Capturing light and printing it on a page is one of the most exciting and satisfying ways to see the world around us. Cameras capture ‘reality’ but they also open up new ways of seeing the world.
With these photo sculptures, André Michel takes the printed photograph and transforms it into something new, unusual and beautiful. Every photograph stands on its own as a piece of art. But together, they create something extraordinary. Some call them ‘visual wind chimes’ or even a 3 dimensional (3D) storybooks.

Chaque photo est une œuvre d’art en soi mais ensemble ils créent quelque chose extraordinaire. Certains les appellent des ‘carillons éoliens visuels’ ou même des livres d'histoires en trois dimensions (3D).
